Intellectual Cramps: Eclipse Galileo: XML gets some love!
Intellectual Cramps: Eclipse Galileo: XML gets some love!: "Galileo's tweaks on the performance side and the addition of an XSLT set of plugins makes it worthy of the B+ grade. If the formatting issues had been corrected, it would have earned an A-, but unfortunately they are still too much in the user's face. Overall interoperability and conformance to the various XML specifications is muched improved, so adopters building on WTP 3.1 will have better interoperability. If you haven't tried it, grab a copy of the Eclipse Galileo for Java EE developer's as this should have everything you need plus some extra. Members within the PDT arena that need XSLT development will want to add the XSL feature to your package through the Galileo update site."

Bacon's Rebellion: The Risky Business of Journalism: "What happened to my story? Good question. Media General, owner of the RTD, bought richmond.com last fall. One recent day I went to the redesigned site to look up my story. It isn't there. I complained to richmond.com and was told it must have been an oversight during the Website reconstruction. I just checked weeks later. My piece is still not on their server.

Slashdot Internet Explorer 6 Will Not Die: "'Despite all the hype surrounding new browsers being released pushing the limits of what can be done on the Web, Firefox 3 has only this past month overtaken IE6. Furthermore, if you take the previous report and snap on the Corporate America filter, IE6 rules the roost and shows no signs of leaving anytime soon. Sorry web developers, for those of you who thought the ugly hacks would soon be over, it appears they will linger on for quite a bit — especially if you develop for business sites.'

Should Sunday Morning Be ‘Hot’ or ‘Cool’? - Don’t Eat The Fruit: "So, this Sunday it might be worth watching how your church navigates the questions of how much work or engagement and congregant has to do. Or is the service so hard to understand that they leave confused (i.e. is the service too “cool”)?"
